Scruffy video

February 28, 2009

Darryl’s friend Yoshimi made a very sweet video about the importance of adopting dogs. She used pictures of Scruffy in the video.  The video is  English, but it is posted on a Japanese website.

Darryl and Yoshimi have started a conversation on their blogs between their Keeshonds, Charlie, Jade, and Leo.  The premise is the dogs want to learn about the difference in culture between the US and Japan.  I think it would make an excellent children’s book.

From Darryl’s blog:  My name is Charlie. I live in a small town in New Jersey, USA, about 20 miles west of New York city. I was adopted about 2 months ago. I used to live in Massachusetts and then in the Bronx, a part of New York City. My new daddy told me about you, but only seemed to know that you were both Keeshonds living in Japan (more..).
